Walk of Hope 2023

Join during the month of March on the Walk of Hope to raise vital funds for Brain cancer Research

March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month around the world and March 15th would have been our Sue’s 55th birthday, if she hadn’t been struck down with Brain Tumours on  8th Jan 2011 after a short 6 week illness leaving 2 young children.
Two years ago we held our first Walk of Hope, as we had cancelled most of our events in 2020 due to Covid. We came up with a very simple idea of asking our supporters to walk 100km in 31 days in March and raise £100. We actually raised £43k which was more than we raised in the whole of 2020 and ensured that we could continue to sponsor our researcher at the Blizard Institute.
We had Mum’s pushing prams. People Dog walking. People in wheelchairs being pushed by their family. People Ran, Cycled wherever in the world they lived, some older people did the walkover 2 months to pace themselves. If you and your friends would like to take part please click on the link below and register your interest and you will be sent details on how to set up your Total Giving page to assist you in raising donations.
